How much scent do I add?
Typically 1 ounce of scent per pound in waxes and a 1/2 ounce of scent in candle gel. The scent should be weighed out on a scale.
Note: There are 16 ounces in a pound.
How much color do I add?
Depending on what type of wax and how deep you want the color the amount will vary. Generally 1-3 drops per pound gives a multiple color variations. Beware of adding to much color which could negatively effect the burn of your candle.
What wax or gel is best?
Wax choice is more personal preference. There is not one type of wax that will fit the needs of everyone. We have multiple different waxes and gels available on our website.
