Supplies Needed:
- Votive Size Flower Candle
- Floral Tape
- Silk Rose Leaves
- 9″ Square or Round Piece of Tulle
- Plastic Sticks and Cups
- Scissors
Step 1 – Gather your materials and prepare your work area.
Step 2 – Insert stick into the plastic cup.
Step 3 – Place votive on the top of the cup. Center the piece of tulle over the votive flower and pull down over the sides of flower to the stem. Twist the tulle around the stick so that the candle will be held in place and the extra tullw will become part of your stem.
Step 4 – Starting at the top of the stick below the votice flower, wrap the floral tape tightly around the tulle to create your flower stem. Gradually work your way down the tulle onto the stick.
Step 5 – When you are about 2″ down from the cup, hold your first leaf against the stick and wrap the floral tape around stick and leaf wire. Place your second leaf about 1″ below the first leaf and wrap both leaf wires and the stick.
Step 6 – Continue wrapping floral tape all the way down the stick. When at the end cut with scissors, and wrap the remainder of the floral tape on the stick.
